India vs West Indies T20 Series: After the four test match series of India vs West Indies, both the teams are keen to play a short bilateral T20 series in the late August this year. As per the sources, the official talks between the officials of BCCI and WICB are going on for this India Vs West Indies Twenty20 Series August 2016. The matches likely to take place at Lauderhill in Florida (Central Broward Regional Park).

India vs WI test match series ending at the Port of Spain in Trinidad on 22nd August and after the series both the cricket boards are trying to make T20 format of cricket popular in the USA also.

As per a secret source, when asked about the India vs WI T20 in August 2016, “WICB officials will be meeting in Florida to sort it out, we are just waiting for the green signal. The matches will take place in the last weekend of August. It will be peak summer in Florida and it will be a spectacle. There is a slight chance of Bangladesh being invited as the third team for a tri-series.”

BCCI wants to share a major revenue with this India vs West Indies T20 Series that’s why the offer has come forward. When West Indies canceled a series midway in 2014, it was a great loss in terms of the profit so this is being considered a compensation for the losses suffered by the BCCI earlier.

If this Ind vs WI T20 Series August 2016 is confirmed, a full Indian T20 squad would fly to Florida and the same applies to Caribbeans. Entry of Bangladesh is not confirmed yet but if Bangladesh is allowed to play the series, it’d be such an interesting to watch this tri-series. Central Broward Regional Park of Florida is presently hosting six CPL (Caribbean Premier League) matches and after that it may host the India vs West Indies T20 Series in August 2016.
