West Indian batting legend Sir Vivian Richards’s son Mali Alexander Richards is highly impressed with the Indian cricketer and Ind vs WI Test Series Captain Virat Kohli. Earlier Vivian Richards had praised Indian skipper Virat Kohli for his double century in Antigua and now his son joined him by meeting Kohli personally and gifting him a self-made painting. Vivian Richards’ Son Gift to Kohli is a proof of Kohli’s popularity in International market.
Sir Vivian Richards and his 32-year-old son Mali Alexander Richards went to Kohli’s hotel to congratulate him over this grand success and his double century against West Indies. There Mali presented a self-made painting to Kohli on this great victory.
“We were excited when we knew that Kohli is going to be Antigua for the first Test Match. We wanted to do something creative for him but we did not know the exact date of his arrival then,” Mali told BCCI on July 26.
Vivian Richards’ Son Gifts a Painting to Virat Kohli for Celebrating Double Century
The painting is showing Virat Kohli, celebrating his success of 200 runs at the cricket ground with his bat in one hand.
“We decided to commemorate his maiden double hundred as he registered the milestone here in Antigua. We prepared the entire painting in just one day and came here to present it to him,” Sir Vivian Richards’s Son Mali said.
Kohli has become the first Indian captain to score a double century in Test series on a foreign land. Mali Richards junior has played 18 first-class matches in his career but later he chose to be an artist.

Vivian Richards’s Son Mali Richards made the entire painting in just one day and presented to Kohli. After this great victory in Antigua, the India vs WI 2nd test match has been scheduled from 30th July to 03rd August in Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica. It would be interesting to see Kohli winning again against the Caribbeans. Mali Richards, Vivian Richards’ Son Gifts a Painting to Virat Kohli is such an honor for Kohli in another country.
